  • Details & Features

The G series from BAUER KOMPRESSOREN offers robust, gas-tight high-pressure compressors for argon, neon and other noble gases. Gas losses are effectively minimised by the recirculation of blow-by and loss gases and efficient encapsulation of the safety valves. Optimised staging ensures optimum compression ratios. The systems are characterised by low operating costs, simple installation and long maintenance intervals. With worldwide service and a secure supply of spare parts, BAUER offers maximum operational reliability for demanding industrial applications.

    B-CONTROL MICRO compressor control system

The B-CONTROL MICRO is a modern, user-friendly compressor control system with a color display that intelligently manages and reliably monitors all basic functions. Interaction between the user and the control system is intuitive and straightforward, with information displayed in clear text. Various languages are available. External signal transmitters can be connected at any time, and operation in a networked system or with an external display is also possible.

    Kompressorsteuerung B-CONTROL SMART

    System design

The directly coupled compressor units are equipped with vibration dampers and are suitable for installation without a special foundation. The air-cooled compressor is designed for efficient heat dissipation and easy maintenance. The direct coupling provides reliable, low-maintenance power transmission between the electric motor and compressor. The automatic condensate drain ensures continuous operation by efficiently removing condensate.

    Intake buffer vessel

The combined intake buffer and condensate tank is essential for Helium compression, as it helps reduce pulsations, noise transmission, and oil consumption. The tank itself operates with virtually no internal pressure buildup. To increase buffer capacity, an additional gas balloon — supplied by the customer — is used as an external expansion volume.

    Compressor block

Our air-cooled compressor blocks come equipped with intercoolers, an aftercooler, an oil and water separator after each compression stage, and a reliable forced-feed oil lubrication system. They provide the foundation for fully automated systems designed to compress air and gases at either atmospheric or elevated intake pressures. Oversized coolers and ribbed cylinders ensure effective heat dissipation. Ultra-fine oil filters, extended maintenance intervals, and dynamically balanced drive systems contribute to high efficiency, reliability, and smooth, low-vibration performance.

    B-LINK 4G

With an integrated WiFi or 4G router, compressor systems equipped with B-CONTROL MICRO can be wirelessly connected to the B-CLOUD. This enables stable remote access, reliable remote monitoring, and secure data transmission via WLAN or mobile networks. If required, the B-LINK 4G can be installed externally to optimize signal strength. It is designed for use in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and the Asia-Pacific region.

    Options

    Super Silent version

The Super Silent enclosure significantly reduces the sound pressure level of the compressor system and enables the connection of an exhaust duct. Its effective sound insulation ensures quieter operation and can also be retrofitted if required.

    B-CONTROL III

The B-CONTROL III is the premium control system for complex applications. Its 7-inch touchscreen display provides a user-friendly visualization of all operating data. Features such as a data logger, USB interface, Remote HMI, and protocols including OPC UA, Modbus, and CAN bus are integrated. The control system supports up to four compressors in a network and can be expanded flexibly.

    Soft start

For a smooth start-up of your system, the use of a soft starter is recommended, as it significantly reduces the starting current. From a motor power of 75 kW and above, this function is included as standard in combination with the B-CONTROL control system. Alternatively, a frequency converter can be used. In addition to enabling soft starting, it allows the delivery rate to be adjusted according to actual demand, helping to reduce energy consumption – for maximum efficiency and operational reliability.

Monitoring of intermediate pressures and intermediate stage temperatures

This monitoring system is ideal for continuous or fully automatic operation, as well as for systems without constant specialist supervision. If defined limit values are exceeded or undershot, an automatic shutdown is triggered. The current actual values are displayed in the B-CONTROL compressor control system.

    Oil level monitoring

When the minimum oil level mark is reached, a warning message appears in the control system. This option is particularly recommended for continuous operation and increases the operational safety of the compressor system by providing early information about critical fill levels.

    B-CLOUD & B-APP

With BAUER B-CLOUD and the B-APP, users can keep an eye on their compressor system at all times, even remotely. Operating data, maintenance instructions, and status messages are transmitted and visualized in real time. This increases transparency, simplifies monitoring, and supports optimized maintenance planning. In addition, the stored operating data in the B-CLOUD is available for later analysis and system performance optimization. If the condition of your compressor system changes, B-CLOUD or B-APP will notify you immediately – by email or via push notification straight to your smartphone.

    B-LINK

Wi-Fi and 4G routers enable the wireless communication of the B-CONTROL MICRO with the B-CLOUD. They establish a reliable Wi-Fi or mobile network connection, allowing secure remote access to the compressor system.

Separate intake buffer and condensate vessel

In this closed system, the gas released during automatic condensate drainage is captured within the containers and fed directly back into the compression process. The system can also operate without a customer-supplied gas balloon. Its design is based on the combined container concept but consists of two separate vessels. The delivery scope also includes a suction solenoid valve and a compensation line for returning the collected gas to the intake side of the compressor.

    Intermediate pressure gauge

Analog pressure gauges are installed at appropriate points of the compressor system and allow for easy monitoring of operating pressures. They support diagnostics and simplify maintenance work on the system.
