Since 2008, BAUER KOMPRESSOREN INDIA (BKI) has been serving the Indian subcontinent as an expanding market. 

The location chosen was Pune, near the metropolis of Mumbai, which, as a booming industrial location, offered the best conditions for starting the business. A decade later, the workforce has grown to over 70. Numerous products are developed and manufactured locally. Subsidiaries of the GROUP can also draw on the expertise of the company's own software development department. The broad product portfolio ranges from compact breathing air compressors to vehicle- or container-based large-scale systems.  

Customers include steelworks, automotive companies, disaster control authorities, aerospace companies and biogas producers.
