BAUER KOMPRESSOREN Ges.m.b.H was formed from the POSEIDON company, which was acquired in 1972. 

The Austrian subsidiary, based in Wiener Neudorf, has been part of the BAUER GROUP since 1995. 

Its main business is high-pressure systems for diving and firefighting. One reference installation is CTR Dive in Vienna, which is the first diving centre to use the new B-VIRUS FREE alongside B-DETECTION and B-BLENDING. In the rapidly growing industrial sector, which has now grown to almost 50%, the focus is on helium applications up to 950 bar. 

The sales area covers Austria and the whole of Eastern Europe.
