As a manufacturing site, UNICCOMP (UCC) is the production heart of the global BAUER GROUP.Â
After the original main plant reached its production capacity limits in 1979, UCC was established in 2001 in Geretsried, 35 kilometres south of Munich, as a state-of-the-art new production facility.Â
It is managed according to the principles of lean and quick response manufacturing. This guarantees absolute control over the quality process and greater supply chain independence, which has proven particularly valuable during the coronavirus crisis.Â
As a market-oriented partner company, UCC supplies subsidiaries worldwide with blocks and components that are used in the production of their own systems for the local market.Â
