  • Details & Features

The VERTICUS series combines proven BAUER compressor blocks with a modern design and improved operating comfort. The optional Super-Silent enclosure and a new vibration frame significantly reduce the noise level. The integrated B-DRAIN automatic condensate drain saves energy and, together with the new 40% larger condensate tank, ensures efficient operation. All operating elements are ergonomically arranged and easily accessible. Thanks to maintenance-free belt tensioning and robust construction, the VERTICUS is particularly maintenance-friendly and durable – even under demanding operating conditions.

    B-CONTROL III

The B-CONTROL III is the premium control system for complex applications. Its 7-inch touchscreen display provides a user-friendly visualization of all operating data. Features such as a data logger, USB interface, Remote HMI, and protocols including OPC UA, Modbus, and CAN bus are integrated. The control system supports up to four compressors in a network and can be expanded flexibly.

The PLC unit with B-CONTROL III display and the control cabinet with power section are installed outside the hazardous area.

    System design

The compressor systems impress with their compact design, minimal space requirements, and high-operating comfort. All control elements are ergonomically arranged and easily accessible from the front. The compressors are directly cooled by ambient air, and the generated heat can be efficiently dissipated. The platform concept combines proven BAUER quality with modern design.

    Compressor block

The compressor blocks are specifically developed for H2-applications. They meet international safety standards and deliver outstanding energy efficiency and reliability – even under the toughest conditions.

Plasma-nitrided and honed cylinders, combined with specially treated piston rings, ensure reduced oil consumption and extended service intervals. Targeted cooling of intercoolers, aftercoolers, and valve heads guarantees maximum service life.

    Drive

Power transmission is carried out via a low-maintenance, self-tensioning V-belt drive. Thanks to the integrated motor rocker, re-tensioning is not required. The compressor systems are equipped as standard with ATEX three-phase motors, ensuring reliable and economical operation.

    B-LINK 4G

With an integrated WiFi or 4G router, compressor systems equipped with B-CONTROL MICRO can be wirelessly connected to the B-CLOUD. This enables stable remote access, reliable remote monitoring, and secure data transmission via WLAN or mobile networks. If required, the B-LINK 4G can be installed externally to optimize signal strength. It is designed for use in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and the Asia-Pacific region.

    Options

Monitoring of intermediate pressures and intermediate stage temperatures

This monitoring system is ideal for continuous or fully automatic operation, as well as for systems without constant specialist supervision. If defined limit values are exceeded or undershot, an automatic shutdown is triggered. The current actual values are displayed in the B-CONTROL compressor control system.

    Oil level monitoring

When the minimum oil level mark is reached, a warning message appears in the control system. This option is particularly recommended for continuous operation and increases the operational safety of the compressor system by providing early information about critical fill levels.

    B-CLOUD & B-APP

With BAUER B-CLOUD and the B-APP, users can keep an eye on their compressor system at all times, even remotely. Operating data, maintenance instructions, and status messages are transmitted and visualized in real time. This increases transparency, simplifies monitoring, and supports optimized maintenance planning. In addition, the stored operating data in the B-CLOUD is available for later analysis and system performance optimization. If the condition of your compressor system changes, B-CLOUD or B-APP will notify you immediately – by email or via push notification straight to your smartphone.

    Purification system

Depending on the system type, the compressors can be optionally equipped with the integrable P 61 or P 81 purification system. This allows pure air and gas qualities to be reliably achieved in accordance with ISO 8573-1.

    Particle filter

An integrated particle filter is optionally available in combination with the P 41, P 61, and P 81 purification systems, ensuring consistently high purity levels.

    Intermediate pressure gauge

Analog pressure gauges are installed at appropriate points of the compressor system and allow for easy monitoring of operating pressures. They support diagnostics and simplify maintenance work on the system.

    Exhaust shaft

For installation in containers or operating rooms, two exhaust duct variants are available: without ventilation flaps for vertical discharge of cooling air, and with flaps for temperature-controlled exhaust air routing either into the room or to the outside. Both variants can only be connected to an exhaust air duct when used in conjunction with the Super Silent enclosure.
