  • Details & Features

The MARINER/420 delivers top performance in a compact format — up to 320 l/min and 420 bar pressure. Its rugged chassis, corrosion-resistant components, and durable protective frame make it the perfect choice for marine and mobile applications. Paired with the BAUER P 41 filter system, it guarantees safe, high-quality breathing air. Thanks to a wide range of options, the compressor can be individually configured — from dive clubs to fire services, from paintball fields to offshore yachts.

    Compressor block

Our compressor blocks are based on decades of experience and development. An efficient air cooling system with large coolers and finned cylinders ensures optimal cooling. Robust industrial roller bearings, pressure lubrication, and fine oil filters minimize wear. Dynamically balanced drive units ensure smooth operation and long maintenance intervals.

    P 41 filter system

The P 41 filter system with additional oil and water separator as well as pressure-retaining non-return valve ensures reliable breathing air in accordance with DIN EN 12021:2014¹ when using original BAUER filter cartridges. A type-tested, sealed final pressure safety valve ensures high operational safety. The processable air volume is 1,550 m³.

¹ Applies with proper maintenance, installation according to the operating manual, and when using the BAUER B-AEROGUARD if the CO₂ concentration exceeds the standard limits.

    Crash frame incl. carrying handles

The corrosion-resistant crash frame provides additional protection and space for accessories such as compressor control or larger filter system. The carrying handles ensure easy and comfortable transport.

    Filling device

The filling device consists of a flexible "UNIMAM" high-pressure filling hose and a filling valve with a final pressure gauge. The gauge allows easy reading of the filling pressure and is reliably protected against damage by a robust rubber coating.

    Filling hose

The high-quality UNIMAM high-pressure filling hoses are made of food-grade, durable material and provide maximum flexibility during handling. Swiveling hose connections allow for quick, easy, and safe connection of the filling valve to the breathing air cylinder.

    Motor rocker with belt tensioner

Thanks to the integrated motor rocker with belt tensioner, no retightening of the V-belt is required anymore.

    Options

    B-SECURUS filter monitoring

The B-SECURUS system monitors the saturation of the filter cartridge(s) by measuring the moisture level in the molecular sieve and provides a timely indication when a cartridge replacement is required – either on the display or via the control unit. Once saturation is reached, the system automatically shuts down the unit. The B-SECURUS filter monitoring system can only be used in conjunction with the P 41, P 61, or P 81 filter systems, as well as the external BAUER filter systems.

    First-stage separator

For operation in humid ambient air, such as in tropical regions or when handling moist gases, a separator is recommended after the first compression stage. It reliably discharges the increased amount of condensate and minimizes its entry into the compressor oil.

    Compressor control (PROFI-LINE)

The electrical control with monitoring electronics shuts down the compressor at final pressure, records operating hours and oil pressure, and displays the current status. It also enables fully automatic operation.

Automatic condensate drain with auto shut-off at final pressure

The automatic condensate drain empties the intermediate and final separators automatically during operation and shutdown – for greater convenience and less effort. In addition, the compressor shuts down automatically at final pressure. For maximum safety, all electrically driven models are built according to DIN EN 60204 and feature a compact control system with control transformer – CE-compliant and operationally safe.

    Trolley set

The trolley set enables easy and effortless transport of mobile compressor units. Equipped with pneumatic wheels, it ensures maximum mobility.
