Details & Features
B-DETECTION PLUS m is a portable case-based solution for measuring CO, CO₂, O₂, and optionally absolute humidity and residual oil (VOC¹) in accordance with DIN EN 12021. Air quality can be tested directly at the cylinder, at the compressor, or at the intake using an optional ambient air pump. The control unit allows the selection of suitable measurement profiles. In the event of limit value exceedance, a visual warning is issued. An integrated data logger with SD card functionality enables the evaluation of defined individual measurements. The transport case is dust- and water-resistant according to IP65.
¹ Humidity and residual oil measurement (VOC) are optional. Residual oil is measured based on volatile hydrocarbons (VOCs). Sensor calibration is based on isobutene.

Options
Battery operation
The integrated battery enables measurements without external power supply. Its capacity allows a measuring duration of at least 5 hours. A long-life lithium iron phosphate type was chosen for particularly many charging cycles.
Filling hose adapter
Enables direct measurement of air from the compressor by connecting to the system’s filling hose.
Adapter for Nitrox
With an additional adapter, connection to 200/300 bar Nitrox cylinders is also possible.
Ambient air pump
An additional pump built into the measuring device enables analysis of the gas composition of intake air. If the intake air contains 450 ppm CO₂ or more, we recommend using an AERO-GUARD CO₂ absorber.
B-CLOUD & B-APP
With BAUER B-CLOUD, all current gas measurement data from B-DETECTION PLUS m can be conveniently retrieved remotely via computer or smartphone (via B-APP). This allows users to always keep track of the air quality used to fill their breathing air cylinders – ensuring maximum safety and transparency.
