Details & Features
With a low centre of gravity and suitability for inclinations of up to 30°, BM compressors meet all requirements for offshore use. The air-cooled design with a large fan ensures reliable cylinder cooling even at high ambient temperatures. Compact and low-maintenance, the compressors of the BM series offer maximum operational reliability in the smallest of spaces. Their long service life, low oil consumption and extended maintenance intervals significantly reduce operating costs and make them the preferred solution for marine, shipping and offshore applications.
Compressor block
The compressor blocks of the BM series feature two compressor stages in proven BAUER quality. An integrated oil pump ensures the lubrication of all main components, even under demanding conditions. The air-cooled design with a large fan ensures reliable cylinder cooling, even at high ambient temperatures. All compression stages are equipped with safety valves.
System design
A low center of gravity and tilt angles of up to 30° make these systems ideal for use on board and in offshore applications. Integrated intermediate separators, safety valves, and automatic condensate drainage are standard features. The entire system undergoes intensive quality testing prior to delivery and is delivered fully operational.
B-CONTROL-C MICRO compressor control
The B-CONTROL-C MICRO is a modern compressor control unit with a color display and user-friendly operation. It controls the motor and automatic condensate drain and offers functions such as pressure and temperature monitoring, recording of load changes in the final separator, and an operating hours display.
Options
Super Silent version
For the BM series, two sound insulation solutions are available: a standard silent enclosure for significantly reduced noise levels during regular operation, as well as an optional additional enclosure for further reduction of the sound pressure level in particularly noise-sensitive environments. The additional enclosure can be retrofitted at any time, allowing flexible adaptation to increasing sound insulation requirements. The compressor control unit is mounted externally on the housing in both versions, ensuring convenient and easily accessible operation at all times.
B CONTROL-C II
The B-CONTROL-C II is a powerful control unit with a color touchscreen display. It controls the motor and automatic condensate drain, monitors pressure, temperature, load changes, and direction of rotation, records operating hours, and supports maintenance management. Additional functions such as a logbook, Modbus interface, and a wide range of expansion options round off the range of functions.
Monitoring of intermediate pressures and intermediate stage temperatures
This monitoring system is ideal for continuous or fully automatic operation, as well as for systems without constant specialist supervision. If defined limit values are exceeded or undershot, an automatic shutdown is triggered. The current actual values are displayed in the B-CONTROL compressor control system.
Pressure gauge for final pressure and oil pressure
Analog pressure gauges are installed at appropriate points of the compressor system and allow for easy monitoring of operating pressures. They support diagnostics and simplify maintenance work on the system.
