  • Details & Features

The CAPITANO 140 is built to handle maximum load in both continuous and short-term operation. Its robust three-stage design with durable block components ensures a long service life. An aluminum chassis provides optimal corrosion protection, while the large-dimension low-pressure oil pump guarantees reliable lubrication. Low-wear piston rings and a vibration-reducing engine rocker emphasize the professional quality of this mobile compressor solution. With its modular accessory system, the CAPITANO can be easily configured to meet any application requirement.

    Compressor block

Our compressor blocks are based on decades of experience and development. An efficient air cooling system with large coolers and finned cylinders ensures optimal cooling. Robust industrial roller bearings, pressure lubrication, and fine oil filters minimize wear. Dynamically balanced drive units ensure smooth operation and long maintenance intervals.

    P 21 filter system

The integrated P 21 filter system with oil and water separator as well as pressure-retaining non-return valve ensures reliable breathing air in accordance with DIN EN 12021¹ when using original BAUER filter cartridges. A type-tested, sealed final pressure safety valve ensures maximum operational safety. The processable air volume is 140 m³.

¹ Applies when properly maintained and installed, and if CO₂ limits in accordance with the standard are not exceeded.

    Filling device

The filling device consists of a flexible "UNIMAM" high-pressure filling hose and a filling valve with a final pressure gauge. The gauge allows easy reading of the filling pressure and is reliably protected against damage by a robust rubber coating.

    Filling hose

The high-quality UNIMAM high-pressure filling hoses are made of food-grade, durable material and provide maximum flexibility during handling. Swiveling hose connections allow for quick, easy, and safe connection of the filling valve to the breathing air cylinder.

    Motor rocker with belt tensioner

Thanks to the integrated motor rocker with belt tensioner, no retightening of the V-belt is required anymore.

    Options

    Changeover device PN 300/200 bar

The PN 300/200 bar changeover device allows filling of cylinders with different operating pressures.

Automatic condensate drain with auto shut-off at final pressure

The automatic condensate drain empties the intermediate and final separators automatically during operation and shutdown – for greater convenience and less effort. In addition, the compressor shuts down automatically at final pressure. For maximum safety, all electrically driven models are built according to DIN EN 60204 and feature a compact control system with control transformer – CE-compliant and operationally safe.

    Compressor control (PROFI-LINE)

The electrical control with monitoring electronics shuts down the compressor at final pressure, records operating hours and oil pressure, and displays the current status. It also enables fully automatic operation.

    Crash frame incl. carrying handles

The corrosion-resistant crash frame provides additional protection and space for accessories such as compressor control or larger filter system. The carrying handles ensure easy and comfortable transport.

    P 31 filter system

The P 31 filter system with integrated oil and water separator as well as a pressure-retaining non-return valve ensures reliable breathing air purification in accordance with DIN EN 12021¹ when used in combination with original BAUER filter cartridges. A type-tested, sealed final pressure safety valve ensures an especially high level of operational safety. The processable air volume is 600 m³.

¹ Applies when the system is properly maintained and installed in accordance with the operating manual, and provided that the CO₂ concentration in the intake air does not exceed the limits defined in the applicable breathing air standard.

    B-TIMER filter cartridge monitoring

The unique B-TIMER minicomputer displays the operating hours and the current filter cartridge saturation in real time. A prominent blinking signal indicates when a cartridge change is due – including the corresponding order number. This ensures the filter capacity can always be used optimally.

    Intake telescope

Thanks to the integrated motor rocker with belt tensioner, no retightening of the V-belt is required anymore.

    Trolley set

The trolley set enables easy and effortless transport of mobile compressor units. Equipped with pneumatic wheels, it ensures maximum mobility.

    First-stage separator

For operation in humid ambient air, such as in tropical regions or when handling moist gases, a separator is recommended after the first compression stage. It reliably discharges the increased amount of condensate and minimizes its entry into the compressor oil.

Additional filling device PN 200 or PN 300 bar

An existing filling connection can optionally be expanded by one or more additional connections with filling hoses of variable length.
