B-SELECT

Automatic priority valve for efficient filling from compressor and storage up to 420 bar

The BAUER B-SELECT automatic selector unit  controls the filling process fully automatically. It utilizes both the compressor and the storage system efficiently to enable time-optimized and safe filling of breathing air cylinders – ideal for professional filling stations.
  • Time-optimized, reliable filling with error prevention through automation
  • Available in versions with pressure retention valve or pressure regulator
  • Efficient overall system
  • Details & Features

The automatic selector unit enables simultaneous filling of breathing air cylinders via both a storage system and the compressor. Priority is given to the cylinders connected to the filling panel. Only once these are fully filled, the system begins replenishing the storage unit from the compressor. When the maximum storage pressure is reached, the compressor shuts off automatically. A new filling cycle begins as soon as another empty cylinder is connected.

The automatic selector unit performs three key functions:

    • Pre-filling the breathing air cylinders from the storage system by pressure equalization.
    • Filling the connected cylinder directly via the compressor until the final filling pressure is reached.
    • Replenishing the storage system until its maximum pressure is reached.

    Options

    Pressure regulator

Instead of the standard pressure retention valve, a precise pressure regulator can be selected. It allows stable and exact adjustment of the overflow pressure – ideal for time-critical filling processes with storage systems. Temperature and environmental fluctuations have little effect on its regulation, making it the preferred option.
