The BAUER B-KOOL refrigeration dryer removes most of the moisture from the compressed air so that it cannot enter the purification system. This significantly extends the service life of the filter cartridge.

The B-KOOL III refrigeration dryer from BAUER significantly reduces filter cartridge consumption through effective pre-drying of the compressed air – ideal for hot locations and continuous operation. Cooling the compressed air causes most of the moisture to condense and be removed via an automatic condensate drain before the air enters the purification system. This saves filter cartridges, reduces operating costs and increases operational reliability.
How the B-KOOL refrigeration dryer works:
- Moistured air is routed from the compressor’s final separator into the B-KOOL.
- The cooling unit lowers the air temperature → condensate forms.
- Condensate is collected in the internal separator.
- The automatic condensate drain discharges the condensate.
- The cooled, pre-dried air is fed into the filter system.
- B-KOOL CONTROL monitors the refrigeration system and controls the condensate drain.
