1956–1965: The economy booms – and so does BAUER

BAUER launches the K14, one of the most successful high-pressure compressors to date.

  • Four-stage block compressor
  • Delivery rate: 200 l/min
  • Areas of application: versatile – from diving to industry

The K14 is a technical pioneering achievement and establishes BAUER's reputation as a supplier of high-precision high-pressure systems.

1959

1960 – Painting without oil: the ROTA series

With the new ROTA product line, BAUER begins manufacturing oil-free rotary compressors for the pressure range up to 1 bar.

These compact and robust systems are ideal for continuous use applications, such as industrial painting.

A technological highlight: ‘As smooth as grease – but without any oil.’

1965

1965 – Expansion and new plants

BAUER grows – not only technically, but also in terms of space:

  • New building in Geretsried: Production plant
  • Construction in Munich: Spare parts centre & customer service location

The company invests specifically in infrastructure and customer proximity – as a basis for long-term growth.

Global construction site use

Mobile BAUER compressors are now working on thousands of construction sites worldwide – particularly popular: the air-cooled LD2, equipped with a practical centrifugal clutch for effortless starting.

  • 80% export quota – deliveries to all five continents
  • In use since 1956 at Cape Canaveral/Kennedy Space Centre (USA) – a symbol of BAUER's international relevance
