When you use our website, information is collected about you, without this requiring any direct contact or any registration. In this context, we automatically gather information via our IT system about your usages behaviour and your interaction with us and registered data concerning your computer or mobile device. This especially relates to the following technical data, which is transferred by your browser to our server:

    Use of Cookies
In addition, cookies are used when our website is accessed. Cookies are text files which are placed on the hard drive of your computer when our website is visited and are stored by your browser. Cookies cannot execute programmes or transmit viruses to your computer. Their purpose is to make the website more user-friendly and effective overall. Moreover, they serve to identify the user, contain information about websites accessed and transmit such information to the entity by which the cookie was placed.
Our legitimate interest in using cookies in the sense of Art. 6 No. 1 sentence 1 letter f GDPR is to make our website more user-friendly, effective, stable and secure. Based on the use of cookies, we are only provided with pseudonymised information on the extent to which you use our website, especially the website areas visited.
This website uses the following types of cookies, the scope and functionality of which are explained below: (1) transient cookies and (2) persistent cookies.
Transient cookies are automatically erased when you close the browser. These include, in particular, session cookies. They retain a session ID, with which various requests from your browser can be assigned to the common session. This will allow your computer to be recognised if you return to our website. Session cookies are erased once you close the browser.
Persistent cookies are erased automatically after a pre-defined period, which can be different depending on the cookie. You can erase the cookies in the security settings of your browser at any time.
You can configure your browser setting according to your preferences and refuse acceptance of third-party cookies or all cookies, for example. Please note that, in this case, you may not be able to use all of the functions of this website.

    Use of Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google Inc. ("Google"). Google Analytics also uses cookies. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the US and retained there.
Where IP anonymisation is enabled on this website, however, your IP address is abbreviated beforehand by Google in member states of the European Union or in other signatory states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transmitted to a Google server in the US and abbreviated there. Google uses this information on our behalf to analyse your use of the website, to compile reports about the website activities and to provide other services relating to the use of the website and the Internet to the website operator.
The IP address transmitted from your browser as part of Google Analytics is not amalgamated with other data from Google. By setting your browser software accordingly, you can prevent cookies from being retained; however, we point out that you may not have full access to all website functions in this case. In addition, you can prevent the data generated by the cookie and relating to your use of the website (incl. your IP address) from being transmitted to and being processed by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available at the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en.
This website uses Google Analytics with the extension "_anonymizeIp()". As a result, IP addresses are processed in shortened form, thus excluding reference to a particular individual. Where the data collected about you is assigned a personal reference, it is immediately excluded, and the personal data thus erased immediately.
We use Google Analytics to analyse and make regular improvements to the use of our website. With the statistics that we obtain, we can improve our offering and make it more interesting for you as user. This also constitutes our legitimate interest in the use of Google Analytics. The legal basis for the use of Google Analytics is Art. 6 No. 1 sentence 1 letter f GDPR.

As a rule, personal data are processed on the company site for market research and advertising purposes. For this purpose a cookie is set in your browser which enables the respective provider to recognise when you visit a website. User profiles can be created using the collected data. These profiles are used to place advertisements inside and outside the platform which it is presumed match your interests. Furthermore, data can be stored in the user profiles independently of the devices used by you. 2. Data processing when making contact

We ourselves collect personal data if you make contact with us for example by way of a contact form or a messenger service, such as Facebook Messenger. The legal basis for processing the data is our legitimate interest in addressing your issue/concern pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR and if necessary Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR if your enquiry is aimed at concluding a contract. Your data will be erased after your enquiry has been finally and conclusively processed provided there are no conflicting statutory obligations to keep records. 3. Data processing for contract processing

If your contact via a social network or another platform is aimed at concluding with us a contract for the supply of goods or for the provision of services, we will process your data to perform the contract or to carry out precontractual measures and to provide the desired services. The legal basis for processing your data is in this case Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR. Your data will be erased when they are no longer required to perform the contract or it is certain that the precontractual measures do not result in the conclusion of a contract conforming to the purpose of the original contact. Please note, however, that it may be necessary even after the contract is concluded to store personal data of our contracting parties in order to meet contractual or legal obligations.

        4. Data processing on the basis of consent

If you are asked by the respective providers of the platforms for consent to processing for a specific purpose, the legal basis of processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a., Art. 7 GDPR. Consent that has been given can be withdrawn at any time with future effect.

    3. Forwarding of data and recipients

Please note that the use of social media platforms may give rise to data processing outside the EU and the European Economic Area in such a way that the European data protection level cannot absolutely be guaranteed. The mentioned social media providers based in the USA are certified for the US-European "Privacy Shield" data protection agreement, which guarantees compliance with the data protection level applicable in the EU.

    LinkedIn Analytics / LinkedIn Insight
We use the conversion tracking technology and the retargeting function of LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company, Wilton Place, Dublin 2, Ireland on our website. This enables us to play personalized ads on LinkedIn to visitors of our website. For this purpose, a cookie, LinkedIn Insight-Tag, is set in your browser with a validity of 120 days, which enables LinkedIn to recognize you if you visit this website and are logged into your LinkedIn account at the same time. LinkedIn uses this data to generate anonymous reports on the performance of the advertisements as well as information on website interaction. The information generated by the cookie is usually transferred to a server in the USA and stored there.
The legal basis for the processing is your consent pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO.
Since a transfer of personal data to the USA takes place, further protection mechanisms are required to ensure the level of data protection of the DSGVO. To ensure this, we have agreed standard data protection clauses with the provider in accordance with Art. 46 (2) lit. c DSGVO. These oblige the recipient of the data in the USA to process the data in accordance with the level of protection in Europe. In cases where this cannot be ensured even by this contractual extension, we endeavor to obtain additional regulations and commitments from the recipient in the USA.
You can deactivate LinkedIn Insight conversion tracking and interest-based personalized advertising by opting out at the following link: https://www.linkedin.com/psettings/guest-controls/retargeting-opt-out. We have neither influence on the collected data and data processing procedures nor are we aware of the full scope of the data collection, the processing purposes and the retention periods. We also do not have any information on the erasure of the data collected by the plug-in provider.
The plug-in provider retains this data as user profiles and uses it for the purposes of advertising, market research and/or the custom configuration of its website.
