KIOGE celebrated its 20th anniversary in Almaty from 2 to 5 October 2012. 

BAUER KOMPRESSOREN was there with a representative stand at this most important oil and gas trade fair in resource-rich Central Asia, showcasing its position as world market leader in high-pressure compressor systems. 

Compressors for onshore and offshore solutions in the oil and gas sector, H2S protection, for the production of breathing air, for turbine control of dams and complete natural gas refuelling systems are just a few examples from the wide range of applications offered by BAUER KOMPRESSOREN, which attracted great interest from government delegations and corporations from the oil and gas business here in resource-rich Kazakhstan. This is because German quality enjoys a very high reputation in Kazakhstan. 

BAUER KOMRESSOREN was particularly proud to welcome a delegation from the renowned K. Satbaev National Technical University. 

The head of the Department of Mining and Transport Technology, Professor Raimkul K. Kudaibergenov, author of a technical dictionary published by the VDMA in four languages, is an enthusiastic fan of German manufacturing technology, which he got to know in detail during his postdoctoral studies in Germany. Without further ado, he used a BAUER BK 26 compressor block displayed on the exhibition stand wall as a visual aid to give his students a highly condensed lecture on the subject of ‘high-pressure compressor technology’.
