When the compressor system starts up and the new crystal-clear 3.5-inch TFT colour display comes into action, the main improvement is immediately apparent: the redesigned user interface of the B-CONTROL MICRO is modern and uncluttered. The graphical visualisation makes it much easier for the user to quickly and comprehensively obtain information about all essential system parameters, such as oil pressure and temperature. All information and system messages are now displayed in plain text, and the menu language can be freely selected. At the same time, the menu structures have been optimised for fast and intuitive navigation. 

When redesigning the system, BAUER KOMPRESSOREN also thought of operators who are impatiently waiting for their compressed air cylinders to be filled: By displaying the remaining time of the current filling process, BAUER is setting new standards in terms of convenience and user-friendliness. 

There have also been some changes under the hood: 

What was previously reserved for the ‘large’ B-CONTROL II control unit is now also possible with the B-CONTROL MICRO: From now on, systems can be used in networked operation. The same applies to the connection to external signal transmitters and the connection of an external display. Another feature increases operating convenience: The remaining time until the final pressure is reached is displayed graphically and as a numerical value. 

The new B-CONTROL MICRO can now be used in a wide range of BAUER systems, including the MINI-VERTICUS, VERTICUS 5, POSEIDON Edition PE-VE, K 22 – K 28 (large industrial series) and KAP-H/HN series. 

B-CONTROL MICRO will be available for the SECCANT regeneration dryer from summer 2014. 

Good news for BAUER customers: despite the higher-quality display, new interface and extended scope, the price remains unchanged from the previous version!
