  • Details & Features

The CTA 120 is based on compressor types of the CS series and optimized for indoor installation. Its modular design allows individual adaptation to different daily capacities. A fully integrated high-pressure drying system with dew point monitoring ensures reliable performance. All components – compressor, storage, and refueling systems – can be freely combined. The robust design meets the highest technical requirements, while BAUER quality guarantees trouble-free continuous operation and long-term spare parts availability.

    Compressor control

The B-CONTROL III from BAUER controls and monitors all functions of the CNG filling station – from gas intake to dispensing. Standard features include monitoring and control of interconnected systems with up to four compressors, automatic compressor data monitoring, maintenance management, and internet-enabled remote service.

In addition, the control system offers practical extra functions: extended language options, full-text display, and common interfaces such as OPC UA, Modbus, CAN bus, or Profibus. The control cabinet with power section and PLC unit is installed in the non-hazardous area.

    Compressor block

The compressor blocks of the natural gas series are specifically developed for CNG applications. They meet international safety standards and deliver outstanding energy efficiency and reliability – even under the toughest conditions.

Plasma-nitrided and honed cylinders, combined with specially treated piston rings, ensure reduced oil consumption and extended service intervals. Targeted cooling of intercoolers, aftercoolers, and valve heads guarantees maximum service life.

    Filter system

The high-pressure gas treatment system (high-pressure filter) is installed on the discharge side of the compressor and reliably removes excess moisture as well as potential oil residues from the natural gas.

With decades of experience in air and gas treatment, BAUER guarantees the highest quality – ensuring safe, optimally conditioned natural gas for the refueling process and on the road.

    Options

     Storage systems (1-bank or 3-bank)

The storage systems, built from special high-pressure single vessels, are scalable, modular in design, and suitable for both indoor and outdoor installation. They can either be integrated into the plant building/container or housed in a separate enclosure.

The standard capacity ranges from 10 to 42 high-pressure cylinders per storage module. Each cylinder provides 80 liters of filling volume, enabling storage capacities from 263 to 1107 m³ of natural gas at 300 bar.

    Filling and refueling control

The system regulates the prioritized filling of the high-pressure storage system and – during the refueling process – the sequential gas withdrawal from the storage. Depending on the application, the control can be designed for a storage pressure of 300 or 250 bar. One or several filling lines can be managed with it.

Since the filling and refueling control is integrated into the central BAUER control unit, perfect coordination between the main functions of the entire system is ensured – guaranteeing maximum efficiency and uncompromising safety.

    Dispenser / fueling station

This dispensing unit is used for fleet refueling or for public filling stations. It can be equipped with a calibrated flow meter, display of the dispensed quantity in kg or m³, indication of the specific gas price, and the total price in the desired currency. The filling process is controlled by the filling and refueling control system.

Thanks to integration into the BAUER central control unit, optimal refueling is ensured – combining short filling times with the maximum permissible filling volume while maintaining the highest safety standards. Integration into existing payment systems is also possible at any time.

    Filtersystem

    Fuel data acquisition

Fuel terminals are modern, reliable systems for automated fuel dispensing and billing. They are primarily used at filling stations, in fleet operations, or at company-owned stations, enabling secure, cashless operation around the clock.

The terminals support various identification and payment methods such as chip cards, PIN codes, or contactless media, ensuring transparency and control during the refueling process. With their robust design, intuitive user interfaces, and flexible software solutions, fuel terminals provide an efficient solution for companies and operators looking to digitalize and optimize their fueling processes.

    TÜV approval

During the factory technical partial inspection, TÜV performs comprehensive pressure and safety tests as well as an inspection of the electrical equipment.
