Filling Station

A filling station consists of the compressor unit, storage cylinders and a filling panel.

BAUER filling stations are primarily installed in professional dive shops, dive centres and other locations that require a fast and reliable source of air.

The storage cylinders can be flanged to one another.

  • Cylinder volume = 50 litres
  • Cylinder volume of typical storage system = 4 × 50 litres = 200 litres
  • Breathing air capacity (at 200 bar) = 40 000 litres (at 1 bar absolute)
  • Breathing air capacity (at 300 bar) = 55 000 litres (at 1 bar absolute)

In Germany, cylinders for stationary units have to be manufactured in accordance to the accident prevention (UVV) and pressure devices guidelines (AD-Merkblätter).

At first, the diving cylinder is filled from the » storage cylinders. It is then topped up by the compressor.
