Compressor Dictionary – D

Driving Gear

The » crankshaft experiences excessive lateral force coming from the piston rods.
Excellent » lubrication of the piston bearings and connecting bolts is of prime importance.

BAUER KOMPRESSOREN places tremendous emphasis on unit reliability. Hence, only state-of-the-art needle bearings are used. They run smoothly - even if lubrication is sub-optimal.

The driving gear is dynamically balanced on both ends - not just the flywheel side. This guarantees smooth running and compressor longevity. Installation does not require foundation plates or floor anchors.

Additional lubrication of the bearings via an oil pump is not required.
