Separator Heads SHD 100 / 150

Operation:

Separator heads SH 200 / 250 are designed for installation in separator tanks of screw compressor units. The head is connected to the tank by a flange joint.

Main operating data:

• Free air delivery (at 7 bar/100 psig) ca.: 17 m³/min (600 cfm )
• Operating pressure max.: 15 bar (210 psig)
• Operating temperature max.: +110 °C (+230°F)

The separator head consists of:
- minimum pressure valve
- oil scavenge sight gauge
- accessories for separator cartridge
- Ölabsaugschauglas
- basic flange (not included in standard delivery)

Provide for the connection for safety valve, differential pressure control, gauge and pilot air outlet at the separator tank.

Minimum pressure valve: aluminium
Oil scavenge sight gauge: aluminium

Function:

The compressed air, containing oil, flows from the pre-separator of the separator tank into the separator cartridge. Here the residual oil is separated and flows inside the tank into the cartridge bottom plate. From there through the scavenge pipe back to the screw block. The oil free compressed air passes out of the tank through the minimum pressure valve at the top. The oil free pilot air for the control of the screw compressor is let out ahead of the minimum pressure valve at the top.
