New Generation of a Classic

K 150 II Block
K 150 II Block

When a legendary classic like the BAUER K 15 compressor block retires, the engineers sights for the successor are really high. A long development period and a wide technical know-how guarantee that the new 150 II / 180 II blocks by BAUER for stationary units continue the success of the previous K 15 / 150 / 180 range.

To top the K 15 in all disciplines. A simple formula, but hard to realize was the contents of the performance specifications for the engineering team at BAUER. The result: convincing!

The weight of the new blocks was reduced on average by 10%, whereas the F.A.D. was increased by 8% at the same time.

Cape Horn - suitable for inclinations of up to 20° due to an incresed oil volume of 30% and the 5 times enlarged MAX/MIN-level gives utmost maintenance safety. Maintenance friendly: The new oil filler neck and sight glass prevents overfilling and offers oil level control at a glance.

A strong wind is made by the newly developed fan, which is even more silent despite improved cooling performance. The new blocks also collect points for environmental protection: the air filter insert made of paper is fully recycable.

Robust and low maintenance: The newly developed directly coupled low-pressure oil pump does not need a toothed belt and an oil micro filte increases the life time of all moving parts!

Last but not least current owners of BAUER compressor units can profit from the change of generation, too: The new blocks can be mounted to the previous VERTICUS (V III, V5) and KAP 15 range thanks to equal interfaces.
